Assessment:
NWC leverages a mixed-methodology data collection and analysis approach within the assessment process, allowing for the systematic integration of quantitative and qualitative data within a single investigation. In this way, all data is regarded as equally important to shaping the narrative of your organization’s unique needs, strengths, and opportunities.

  • Facilitation of a Leadership Readiness session to assess the current state of leadership and the organizational readiness as a baseline for establishing a strategic plan and path forward.
  • Facilitation of focus groups and one-to-one conversations with key stakeholders to gain a well-rounded understanding of the organization’s current state within your DEI journey.
  • A robust library of survey questions designed to gather the data necessary to understand inclusion experiences within your organization.
  • A narrative-based SWOT report based on the results of all data collected to include high-level strategic recommendations.
  • Support in creating and launching a strong communications strategy to ensure the organization is set up for success.

 DEI Benchmarking
NWC is a strong proponent of internal benchmarking (as opposed to external benchmarking). That is, we encourage clients to compare their data against their own set of expectations, goals, and needs instead of focusing on how they measure up against competitors (or even other clients of NWC). Our approach to DEI Benchmarking is to leverage data not to compare organizations to one another but to help clients envision a future state. Working in collaboration with the Client, we determine the most appropriate benchmarking objectives and scope of the data collection, identify target organizations with similar infrastructure and industry, and the client’s current process performance gaps relevant to diversity, equity, and inclusion to help inform what needs benchmarking and benchmarking metrics. We recommend that the analysis include factors that contribute to the successful model of an organization that practices intentional inclusion and strategic diversity.
